BLEEDING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

1. Use UP/DOWN toggle switch to lower the

opened platform to the ground.

2. Loosen, but do not disconnect, the cylinder

line ﬁ tting from the pressure compensated

ﬂ ow control valve (FIG. 17-1) on top of

both cylinders.

3. Set the UP/DOWN switch on the RH runner in

the UP position for approximately one second

and then release the switch. Wait ten seconds

and then switch to UP and release. Repeat

this step until there is no air bubbling from the

loosened line ﬁ ttings.

5. Use UP/DOWN toggle switch to raise and

lower the platform to make sure the Liftgate

operates correctly.

4. Tighten cylinder line ﬁ tting to pressure

compensated ﬂ ow control valve (FIG. 17-1).

NOTE: Perform this procedure at a place where Liftgate platform can be

lowered to lowest point of travel. Get a helper to operate Liftgate

control switch.
